2024- 2026 Community Health Needs Assessment and Health Improvement Plan
The Box Butte General Hospital Board of Trustees approved a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) for 2024-2026, as required under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (PPACA). PPACA requires 501(c)(3) health care entities such as BBGH to review and adopt such plans every three years.
The CHNA approved by the board was developed collaboratively in large part through the leadership of the Panhandle Public Health District. Box Butte General Hospital CEO Lori Mazanec said the plan complements and reinforces BBGH's long-standing mission to lead and innovate in healthcare delivery and community wellness.
